菠菜网lol正规平台 campus community,
Following Governor Gavin Newsom’s directive today calling for self-isolation of anyone 65 years of age or older and those with chronic conditions, the California State University Chancellor’s Office issued the following mandate:
- Effective immediately, all CSU employees so categorized must stay off campus and/away from the Chancellor’s Office.
- For many such individuals, a telecommute working arrangement can be established allowing them to remain productive and continue advancing the operations and mission of the CSU.
- For others, they are to be put on administrative leave with pay at their current rate and for their normal scheduled work hours.
Effective immediately, anyone 65 years of age or older and/or who suffer from chronic conditions is not to come to campus or any of 菠菜网lol正规平台’s off-site locations. In addition, the California Department of Public Health considers those with compromised immune systems vulnerable to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and they too will be asked to not come to campus or any off-site locations.
Please note that the Chancellor’s Office has indicated that changes from the Governor’s Office may result in an adjustment to the directive.
If you are a staff or faculty member and are 65 years of age or older, you will be contacted by your supervisor/appropriate administrator to discuss your work options.
If you have a chronic health condition or compromised immune system, or are a caregiver to someone who is 65 years or older and/or has a chronic health condition or compromised immune system, please contact your supervisor/appropriate administrator or University Personnel as soon as possible to discuss telecommuting or other work arrangements.
